Normal office hours are Monday- Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. As trial attorneys, we are frequently in court during business hours. To better serve you, several times a week we offer evening hours until 7:00 p.m., so that you will have the option of setting an appointment with us after your own working hours.
Financial Information: Our policy is to collect a certain sum of money, a “retainer,” from you before we begin work on your case. Your retainer is placed in our trust.
Your retainer is a down payment on the total costs of your case. We charge per hour for work that we perform for you. As your case progresses, we may contact you to pay another deposit. At the conclusion of your case, you will receive a final bill.
Appointments: We encourage you to contact our office and make an appointment to speak with us whenever you have questions or concerns that you need to discuss or bring to our attention. When you come in for your appointment, please keep in mind that there may be times that the attorney encounters events in court that delay their return to the office. If this happens, we will attempt to see you as soon as possible. However, there may be times that your appointment will need to be rescheduled, either by you or by us. Please be understanding and realize that it could be your case that requires such attention.
Phone Messages: When you call and speak to one of our secretaries, please remember to leave a detailed message for us, including questions or concerns you have, and both day and evening phone numbers where we might reach you. Our ability to respond to your concerns in a timely fashion will be greatly enhanced if you do so.
Staying In Touch: One of the most important aspects of our attorney/client relationship is the ability to reach each other. Please remember to contact our office every time that your address or home/work phone number changes, so that we can update our files. We want to be able to serve your legal needs to the best of our abilities. If we are unable to reach you to relay information to you, it may delay action in your case.
